About Chemical Peels

A chemical peel is a treatment that applies a carefully selected solution to the skin to accelerate its natural exfoliation. By loosening and lifting away the outermost layer of dull, damaged cells, a peel encourages fresh skin to come through and stimulates renewal beneath the surface. The result is skin that looks brighter, smoother and more even in tone.

Chemical peels may suit you if your skin looks dull, uneven, congested or textured, or if you’d like to address pigmentation and refresh your overall glow. Peels can be tailored to a wide range of skin types and concerns, and are often used as part of an ongoing skincare plan.

At your consultation, we’ll assess your skin, discuss your goals and review your medical history to choose the right peel and confirm it’s suitable and safe for you. Peels aren’t suitable for everyone — including during pregnancy or breastfeeding for certain formulas, with some skin conditions or medications, or over active infections or broken skin. Your practitioner will advise you honestly, and a patch test may be recommended.

What to expect​

We believe great skin is built gradually and safely. Rather than reaching for the strongest peel, our practitioners select the right one for your skin and your goals — starting gently, building where needed, and always prioritising the health of your skin barrier. A good peel should leave you glowing, not damaged.

Every treatment is carried out by a trained practitioner, and you’ll understand the plan and any expected peeling before we begin.
  • Consultation. We assess your skin, discuss your concerns, review your health history, and select the right peel, plan and price together. A patch test may be advised.
  • Preparation. Your skin is thoroughly cleansed and prepped for treatment.
  • Treatment. The peel solution is applied and left for a controlled time. You may feel a mild tingling or warmth. The appointment is usually short.
  • Immediately after. Your skin may look flushed and feel slightly tight. Depending on the peel, you may experience light flaking to more noticeable peeling over the following days. after. Some swelling, tenderness or minor bruising is normal and usually settles within a few days. Your lips may look fuller than the final result at first — this eases as the swelling subsides.
  • Results. Superficial peels give an immediate glow; deeper renewal and improvements in tone and texture build over the days and weeks afterward — especially across a course.
